BioI'm a big blonde gaijin (or gaikokujin if you prefer) in the city of Ise in Japan.
I teach at the city high school, and with this I join the mountain of blogs there are about teaching English in Japan. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it sucks big time. Other times it's just like any job and you worry that you should be out having adventures on the weekend, when really you just want to make potato salad and catch up on your laundry.
For better or for worse I'm here and if I don't completely foul this up and get deported you can look forward to lots more posts from yours truly about my adventures, because when you're in Japan, sometimes just going to the grocery stores is an adventure. : p
